Do you want your door frame to be 2"
wide or 1.5" wide? A 2" frame is standard. To select a
1.5" frame, click on the

A 2-inch wide frame is what most
customers choose. It gives you a bit more space around your cutout for adding
fasteners. You should center your frame so that it extends beyond your cutout
about 1" on all sides.
A 1.5-inch wide frame comes in handy
when you need to keep the outside dimensions of your door to a minimum.
However, it also limits how much room you have to add fasteners around your
cutout -- in this case, about 3/4 of an inch on all sides.
Your door's total outside dimensions (width
& length in inches) will be: (Hinge or dogs go on the "L"
dimension.)
If
you need a door that lifts out rather than a hinged door, select the
"Dogs" button at left.
