Buck Woodcraft sells a variety of marine plastics and composites, because boaters often need stuff that wood just can't do. Such as be transparent or translucent or opaque, like acrylic (think Plexiglass, clear or smoked).
We also offer Nida-Core, a lightweight extruded polypropylene honeycomb core structure. It's available in conventional sheets--or in sheets that are scored into 1" or 2" squares, so it will conform to compound curves. Nida-Core can be laminated with a range of skin materials, using the resin or adhesive of your choice. It's way lighter than plywood and half the weight of balsa-core materials, and naturally, it won't rot. For complete application and technical information about this excellent product, click here.
