We typically make engraved U.S. Coast Guard boat documentation number boards out of First European Quality (FEQ) Asian teak. But we also offer more economical choices -- African mahogany or plain white PVC.

The completed dimensions for our documentation boards are the same for all three styles: 4" high x 23-1/4" long x ½” thick.

Documentation-board letters & numerals are engraved into whichever material you choose, in the Arabic type font shown, and are 3" high. The format for the letters and numerals is: NO.1234567.

These specifications meet all applicable United States Coast Guard requirements for size and permanent installation.

Outstanding. A beautiful piece of wood on arrival and after a few coats of teak oil and wet sanding with 600 grit it looks better than the finest furniture.
